Yeah annoying it doesn't merge recursively. I was able to make a workaround in my balphp library.

Hi Tezin,
Sound quality of this laptop is pretty good, be warned though that it is not dolby digital though.
Running multiple program is not an issue , very often have ~10 firefox windows (each with multiple tabs), many terminals, screen, apache, mysql, mplayer and few other programs running simultaneously and did feel it any slow. You may like to cross check if you want to play video games I have never tried that.
Regarding XP, I can't say for sure because I use linux , but my hunch is that except for audio chip(which is relatively new make) other things are pretty standard.

Your review is one of the best i have read on the same product which i am interested. Can comment more about other feature of that products? Such as sound quality, running multiple programs, etc. If i install XP by removing the preinstalled vista, what drivers will i need. Will highly appreciate if you could gave some more guidelines for i have little knowledge about it. Thanks a lot.
